RENEWING A BROKER’S LICENSE

Real estate licenses are valid for four years at a time. At the end of the four years, the holder of the license may apply to the Department of Real Estate to renew the license. To have the license renewed, the license holder must comply with requirements for continuing education. The Department of Real Estate can refuse to renew a license, for any of the reasons that it could have refused to issue it in the first place.
